📋 Description

• Development, enhancement and maintenance of backend services with a focus on C# and .NET (Core) • Analysis, takeover and targeted optimization of existing third-party solutions • Identification of refactoring opportunities and structured, low-risk modernization of existing systems while maintaining operational stability • Ensuring high quality standards regarding code quality, performance and maintainability • Design and implementation of service integrations via REST APIs as well as event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, SQS) • Close and structured collaboration with Quality Assurance (QA), DevOps and other backend teams • Active participation in the design, implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and in deployments to the AWS cloud • Ensuring software quality through the use of unit and integration tests (e.g., with xUnit or NUnit) and common mocking frameworks

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience (5+ years) with C# and .NET Core • Practical experience operating applications on Linux (Docker/Kubernetes) • Solid expertise in microservices architectures, API design and cloud (ideally AWS) • Deep understanding of the CLR, async/await, memory management and performance profiling • Strong database skills in PostgreSQL (query optimization, schema design, migrations) • Experience with observability (logging, tracing, metrics – e.g., OpenTelemetry) • High quality awareness demonstrated through unit and integration testing (xUnit/NUnit, mocking) • Independent, responsible working style, team spirit and enjoyment of distributed teams • Language skills: German (B2–C1) and English (C1)
