• Design and maintain high-availability mirror infrastructure for Open VSX content distribution • Manage cloud resources across European and global providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) • Implement security controls, backups, and disaster recovery strategies • Support PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch clusters for performance and reliability • Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools • Monitor system health using observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and respond to incidents • Collaborate with SREs and developers to improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows • Provide technical support to users and community contributors • Maintain documentation and contribute to operational playbooks

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or systems administration • Strong understanding of Linux systems and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) • Experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, GCP, Azure) • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and distributed systems • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards • Strong troubleshooting skills and a collaborative mindset
