📋 Description

• Drive the design process during early phases of data center development • Manage the design strategy from site selection through design completion • Ensure engineering and design decisions support overall project objectives, delivery schedules, and long-term operational performance • Collaborate closely with internal development teams and external design consultants • Coordinate technical disciplines and manage design in alignment with the project’s Basis of Design • Ensure design progresses in line with key development milestones • Provide technical guidance during the development phase • Review engineering deliverables to ensure alignment with project objectives and company standards • Support technical decision-making related to system layouts and infrastructure strategies • Align design progression with project milestones such as concept design, permit design, and construction readiness • Manage relationships with external engineering and design consultants

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related technical field (or equivalent experience) • 7–10 years of experience managing engineering or design for complex infrastructure projects • Strong familiarity with data center infrastructure and mission-critical MEP systems • Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams • Ability to manage design schedules and drive engineering deliverables • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders • Data center development or mission-critical facility design experience (preferred) • Experience working on projects during early development phases including site selection and concept design (preferred) • Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure or industrial development projects (preferred) • Experience coordinating with developers, consultants, and contractors during preconstruction phases (preferred)
