📋 Description

• Build relationships by demonstrating competence, cultural sensitivity, and diplomacy • Work with the Internal Audit Manager to define project objectives, scope, work plan, and sampling criteria • Perform internal audits to evaluate process risks and control systems • Apply critical thinking, business savvy, and effective time management to audit engagements • Gather, develop, and maintain documentation for audit testing and analysis • Review audit results, formulate and report audit findings, and assess reviewed areas • Partner with audit customers to develop recommendations that improve operations • Provide education and training on internal control and risk assessment concepts • Ensure management creates action plans and follow up on recommendations • Facilitate audit engagements through precise, clarifying questions and candid information gathering • Maintain audit tools and processes • Review and analyze information and audit results to prevent and detect fraud • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration • Fluent in English and Spanish • Two years auditing or professional accounting experience • Non-profit experience and/or experience working with international staff • Personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to Edify’s mission • Living example of servant leadership, humble and willing to learn • Passionate about Edify’s mission and alleviating global poverty • A high degree of integrity • Excellent listening skills to understand issues, risks, and goals • Ability to work tactfully with others, displaying integrity, discernment, sound judgment, and confidentiality • Ability to travel as needed
