📋 Description

• Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five (5) or more hours per day • Use student performance data to personalize instruction and adapt approach • Provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work and maintain records • Build genuine relationships with students and families through communication • Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues for consistent support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field • Active state teaching license in Washington (state), Oregon, Wyoming, Michigan, and/or Virginia in English/Language Arts grades 6-12 • Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings • Comfortable with the unique demands of a live online classroom • Confident and engaging on camera, able to teach live for five (5) or more consecutive hours per day • Hands-on experience with online learning platforms and standard productivity software • Data-informed: able to read student performance data and adjust live instruction accordingly • Excellent communicator, in writing and verbally • Highly organized and self-directed with time management skills • Commitment to professional growth and staying current on K-12 curriculum and best practices.
