📋 Description
• Independent end-to-end handling of all import and export processes • Ensure that all customs and accompanying documents are complete and accurate • Primary point of contact for customs authorities, external logistics partners and internal teams during official customs audits • Classification of products in the customs tariff and maintenance of customs- and foreign-trade‑relevant master data in the ERP system • Establish new, efficient procedures and integrate all customs-related matters into daily operations • Build a network of logistics partners and manage day-to-day operational activities • Book and arrange freight for international shipments and coordinate transports
🎯 Requirements
• Several years of relevant professional experience in customs, import and export processing • Solid knowledge of European customs law (import/export) • Knowledge of tariff classification and foreign trade law • Strong practical knowledge of Incoterms® 2020 • Understanding of ERP systems—especially for master data maintenance and transaction processing • Meticulous, audit-compliant working style • Detail orientation • Negotiation skills (e.g., for freight rates) • Confident communication in German and English • Open, proactive approach to complex questions and issues
