• Lead electrical engineering design activities on major projects in the United States and Canada • Design, model, and simulate electrical systems for hyperscale and AI data centres. • Develop electrical systems including power distribution, UPS, standby generators, and security systems. • Prepare engineering calculations, schematic designs, and detailed designs. • Create technical documentation for project execution, including design criteria and specifications. • Collaborate with architects and engineers to coordinate BIM models and resolve conflicts. • Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with engineering codes and safety standards. • Use BIM tools to virtually construct electrical systems and coordinate with other disciplines. • Manage and coordinate projects, including on-site supervision. • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress. • Utilize laser scanning technology to document installation states.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, preferably in the construction industry. • Experience with data centre projects or other large-scale industrial projects is a plus but not required. • Proficiency in BIM software (Autodesk Revit), CAD modeling tools, and other relevant engineering software (ETAB, SKM). • Strong understanding of electrical systems design, including power distribution, UPS systems, standby generators, and security systems. • Possession of a valid Professional Engineer (PEng) license will be a plus. • Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Strong project management abilities, including the coordination and supervision of on-site activities. • Willingness to travel to client sites in Canada and the United States (Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California, Texas, Colorado, and Virginia). • Ability to work from home. • Authorization to work in Canada.
