📋 Description

• Serve as the technical reference for the Data Science team, guiding technical decisions, analytical architecture, best practices, and deliverables • Coordinate the development of Data Science solutions to process, analyze, and extract value from large volumes of data generated by distributed sensing systems and other high-frequency sources • Develop and implement Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and advanced techniques for anomaly detection, event classification, pattern recognition, and decision support • Design and implement data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, transformation, and delivery in distributed, large-scale environments • Define and apply data handling, cleansing, curation, and enrichment strategies, ensuring data quality, reliability, and traceability • Develop algorithms for dimensionality reduction, data compression, distributed processing, and computational performance optimization • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Architecture, Research and Development teams, and subject-matter experts to translate business challenges into scalable analytical solutions • Conduct studies, proofs of concept, experiments, and evaluations of new Data Science and Artificial Intelligence technologies, methods, and algorithms • Ensure best practices in the development, documentation, governance, and monitoring of models and analytical products • Support the team’s technical development through mentoring, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and the development of internal capabilities • Participate in defining the project’s data and artificial intelligence strategy, contributing to scalable, robust, and results-oriented solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field • Strong experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence applied to large-scale data • Experience providing technical leadership to teams, supporting architectural decisions, technical direction, solution reviews, and professional mentoring • Knowledge of time series, anomaly detection, classification, clustering, dimensionality reduction, and feature engineering • Knowledge of signal processing, including filtering, FFT, wavelets, and feature extraction • Experience with Python, SQL, and leading frameworks and libraries for data analysis and Machine Learning • Knowledge of Big Data architectures, distributed processing, Data Lakes, NoSQL databases, and streaming data processing • Experience in data modeling, data quality, data governance, and data architecture • Knowledge of Data-Centric AI, data compression, and distributed processing • Experience with APIs, microservices, containers, and cloud environments • Ability to transform business problems into scalable, data-driven analytical solutions • Advanced English proficiency
