📋 Description
• Translation and adaptation of English scripts into German in the style and tone of Simplicissimus • Adjusting structure and phrasing to improve flow and clarity • Researching and adding new content tailored to a German-speaking audience • Checking for current developments and updates related to each topic • Reviewing original videos and visually translating on-screen text elements
🎯 Requirements
• Excellent German language skills, ideally at native level • Strong command of English • Proven experience in translation and localization, preferably for editorial content • Ability to authentically reproduce the writing style of an established channel • Strong research skills and a high degree of factual accuracy • Ability to culturally contextualize content for a German-speaking audience • Experience writing and adapting scripts for video formats • Self-directed work style and ability to reliably deliver high-quality results on schedule • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with remote teams • Experience in journalism or documentary filmmaking
