📋 Description

• Understand product requirements and identify publication requirements with minor supervision of senior staff • Identify the client's writing style and write technical documentation conforming to Microsoft, Apple, and Chicago publication standards • Estimate documentation development efforts and agree task deadlines with the Project Manager or Head of IDO • Communicate the status of documentation tasks in progress to ensure timely delivery • Interview subject matter experts to obtain ongoing project details • Create documentation templates for various document outputs • Write and edit interface and procedural documentation, including user guides, installation guides, quick-reference guides, release notes, system configuration guides, and help systems • Participate in IDO competence development events • Participate in coaching and mentoring junior staff

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant work experience • Understanding the software documentation specifics • Deep knowledge of software terminology • Knowledge of technical documentation development methodology (DDLC) and its interdependence with SDLC • Experience in setting up documentation processes • Proven experience in updating documentation according to the existing templates • Solid experience in creating documentation and templates (if needed) from scratch • Proven experience in UX writing • Advanced level of English
