📋 Description
• Craft engaging, memorable, and replayable environments that define the player experience • Take ownership of level design from concept to polish • Collaborate closely with design, art, and engineering teams • Develop layouts and encounter designs that align with the game’s combat systems • Optimize levels for performance, accessibility, and scalability across multiple platforms • Ensure levels meet artistic, design, and technical quality standards throughout development • Mentor mid-level and junior designers
🎯 Requirements
• 4+ years of professional level design experience in the game industry • Proven track record of shipping at least one title as a level designer • Understanding of encounter design, pacing, and environmental storytelling • Proficiency with modern game engines and level design tools such as Unreal or Unity • Familiarity with gameplay scripting and event systems • Communication, documentation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills • Ability to balance creative vision with technical constraints and production timelines
