📋 Description

• Maintain and communicate deep scientific knowledge of oncology-related disease states, Lilly and competitor compounds, and current therapeutic-area issues • Engage in continuous learning and maintain technical expertise • Answer complex scientific questions and provide unbiased, accurate, current medical and scientific information • Build trusted relationships and conduct mutually beneficial two-way dialogues with scientific experts • Serve as the primary interface between Lilly Medical and scientific experts • Connect scientific experts with Lilly resources and internal business partners • Identify potential collaborative research and external collaborations • Synthesize complex data and communicate clinical insights and unanswered questions to medical and cross-functional teams • Apply reactive problem-solving and use internal resources to execute solutions • Make independent, principle-based decisions and escalate appropriately • Cultivate internal networks and collaborate across functions • Contribute to medical planning and affiliate strategy • Analyze, plan, prioritize, implement, and evaluate a strategic territory plan • Execute the role compliantly in accordance with internal and external requirements, procedures, and laws • Complete professional development training and Performance Management objectives • Travel predominantly in the field

🎯 Requirements

• Medical Doctor • Minimum of 1 years’ MSL experience within a multinational company • Proven experience to work as an individual and team contributor • Proven experience to engage medical professionals • Experience in Oncology & Hematology therapeutic areas preferred • Experience with academic communities, medical research, and medical education process • High learning agility to comprehend and communicate complex scientific content clearly and concisely • Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple priorities and projects • Strategic and critical thinking to analyze and interpret information • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Resiliency in managing complex challenges • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills • High emotional intelligence • Strong relationship building and networking • Strong planning and organization • Advanced presentation and computer skills with expertise in literature identification • Ability to use field-based electronic or other communication tools • Ability to travel 80% of the time • Willingness and ability to undertake domestic travel and potentially international travel • May require evening/weekend work
