📋 Description

• Design and develop ABAP applications within an SAP S/4HANA Retail environment. • Implement RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) solutions and OData services. • Develop and optimise Core Data Services (CDS) Views across analytical, consumption and interface layers. • Develop and optimise performance-critical ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP). • Review, maintain, refactor and improve the existing ABAP custom codebase. • Ensure development quality, maintainability and adherence to technical standards. • Produce technical documentation and solution designs for new features and enhancements. • Work closely with SAP functional teams to analyse requirements and translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Provide knowledge transfer, technical guidance and mentoring to internal development teams. • Support application performance analysis and optimisation where required.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional ABAP development experience or equivalent demonstrable expertise. • Strong hands-on development experience with modern ABAP technologies. • Experience working on at least one production SAP S/4HANA implementation. • Hands-on experience implementing RAP-based OData services. • Strong experience developing CDS Views, including analytical, consumption and interface patterns. • Practical experience developing ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP). • Good understanding of SAP MM and/or SD business processes. • Ability to review, refactor and optimise existing ABAP custom code. • Business-level English communication skills.
