📋 Description

• Monitor GovSpend, BidNet, state and county procurement portals, and agency notices daily. • Find RFPs, RFIs, pre-solicitations, sole-source notices and contract renewals. • Read solicitations and match opportunities to Fairfax Software's payment processing, document capture and AI document processing products. • Tag opportunities by product fit, state, agency and department type. • Maintain and tune the keyword library used to find and score opportunities. • Maintain a clean master list with agency, solicitation number, issue date, due date, Q&A deadline, value and document links. • Track incumbent contract expirations and identify renewal or rebid opportunities 12–24 months in advance. • Prepare a weekly ranked bid/no-bid shortlist with summaries. • Log bid outcomes, winners, award values and reasons for losses where available. • Report to the Bid Manager within Embrace Shared Services and provide research for bid/no-bid decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years in research or analysis, ideally on US RFPs, bid tracking, or market research for US clients. • Strong reading of long documents; ability to review 150-page solicitations and quickly and accurately extract scope, requirements, dates and deal-breakers. • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills. • Ability to keep lists clean and consistent. • Comfortable using AI tools for search, summarizing and classification, with ability to verify their output. • Clear written English; summaries are short and plain. • Willingness to work part of the day on US Eastern time. • Nice to have: experience with GovSpend, BidNet or similar US bid databases. • Nice to have: understanding of how US state and local government buys.
