📋 Description

• Location: Belgium (Hybrid) • Role Overview The Supply Chain Expert will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving our client's procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution strategies. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth operations that align with their sustainability and growth objectives. • Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain efficient supply chain strategies tailored to Belgian and EU markets. Oversee procurement, supplier negotiations, and vendor relationship management. Optimize inventory control processes to balance cost, availability, and risk. Monitor logistics performance and coordinate transportation solutions across Belgium and international markets. Implement KPIs, reporting tools, and performance tracking to identify improvement opportunities. Ensure compliance with Belgian and EU trade regulations, customs requirements, and sustainability standards. Lead process improvement initiatives leveraging digital tools and ERP systems. Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to forecast demand and align supply chain capacity.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. • 5+ years of proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in a multinational or Belgian-based environment. • Strong knowledge of Belgian and EU logistics regulations and customs procedures. • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Fluency in Dutch and/or French , with good English proficiency.
