📋 Description

• Design and develop moderately complex automated test scripts • Execute automated test cases and report results • Independently identify, document, and track software defects to resolution using tools such as JIRA • Document test cases, test results, and defects clearly and concisely • Collaborate with software engineering to understand application functionality and testing requirements • Maintain and update automated test scripts as applications change • Follow and recommend automation best practices • Guide associate automation quality engineers and support their skill development • Perform manual testing when needed

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years overall testing experience • 1–2 years automation testing experience or equivalent automation training • Proficiency in Java programming language (Core concepts) • Strong understanding of and experience with requirement analysis • Strong experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Karate, JUnit, and TestNG • Debugging skills • Experience using version control systems such as Git • Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber • Familiarity with SQL and database testing • Experience in UI/API functional testing • Experience using JIRA and ZE management tools • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred • Good design and estimation techniques desired • Strong communication and teamwork skills preferred • Knowledge of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins is a plus • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies desired
