📋 Description

• Own and manage senior client relationships and the delivery organisation, ensuring alignment on goals, expectations, and deliverables • Drive business growth by implementing strategic plans to foster long-term client relationships and revenue expansion • Develop and execute strategies to achieve 20%+ revenue growth within the client portfolio • Actively manage and develop pipeline within accounts, aligned to go-to-market strategy with Business Development Manager • Spend 50%+ of time cultivating new business and relationships within clients and leveraging professional networks • Build personal brand and relationships with senior stakeholders across business, tech, sales, and marketing, with significant face-to-face client engagement • Accountable for revenue and profit forecasts, delivery, P&L ownership, and meeting financial targets • Delegate delivery responsibilities to Delivery Managers in large accounts while maintaining oversight • Manage and mitigate risks, succession planning, and explore replacement pipelines for mature accounts • Ensure compliance with governance, business rules, and regulatory standards within client portfolio • Drive continuous improvement, innovation in solutions and commercials, and build industry expertise and credentials • Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the team

🎯 Requirements

• Significant professional experience in client management or a similar role • Breadth and depth of experience across payments, including merchant acquiring, card issuing, business payments, ACH, wire, instant payments • Experience across multiple stakeholder groups (merchants, businesses, processors, financial institutions) • Proven track record of delivering 20%+ revenue growth across a client portfolio • Extensive experience developing and executing client strategies that drive business growth • Demonstrated success managing account P&L and achieving financial targets • Experience in client engagement and building senior-level client relationships (C-level) • Proven ability to collaborate and influence across various organizational levels • Proficient in client negotiation (investments / Master Service Agreements / thorny contract points) • Deep expertise in client relationship management and strategic planning • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship management abilities • Strong business acumen and ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure • In-depth understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and financial analysis • Experience in strategic initiatives, transformation projects, or large-scale integrations is a plus • Proficiency in financial management, forecasting, and risk management • Demonstrated ability to influence change and drive organizational transformation • Ability to attend internal and external meetings via video calls and go into corporate or client offices as necessary • Ability to remain stationary at a desk for prolonged periods and perform basic physical tasks (bend, kneel, lift 25 lbs if travel required) • Valid driver’s license for positions that require business travel, as necessary
