📋 Description

• Join the high-profile, fast-paced Internal Audit team • Support the delivery of Internal Audit (IA) objectives • Provide independent, objective assurance and advisory services designed to add value and improve the organisation's operations • Support the leadership team in the development, planning and management of the Safety, Health & Wellbeing Assurance Program • Ensure that safety, health and workers compensation self insurance licence requirements are met in line with Board and State licensing requirements • Lead the execution of high risk store / hotel safety audits and system management audits identifying and assessing key risks in operational controls • Present audit findings in both written and verbal format to clearly communicate to various levels of management including the Audit and Risk Committee • Train and develop the IA team to drive a high performing and achieving team.

🎯 Requirements

• Tertiary qualified in Safety, Health and Wellbeing (Essential) • Big 4 accounting firm experience required with equivalent position being Auditor / Senior Auditor with Environment, Health and Safety / operational audit experience (Highly Desirable) • 5+ years experience in auditing Safety, Health and Wellbeing Management Systems (Highly Desirable) • Proficient in the Australian Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing • Current or previous experience working within a Self Insurance Licence organisation (Highly desirable) • Previous operational experience in retail stores and or hotels (Desirable) • Ability to provide recommendations for integrating Safety, Health and Wellbeing management systems into business practices • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communications to both business and store and hotel operations as required • Ability to interpret and analyse data • Ability to work with teams of auditors and managers • Ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders • Strong problem solving aptitude, with an attention to detail.
