• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, ensuring efficient workflow and structure and professional development. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department. • Implement new accounting processes, technologies and tools as needed. • Lead the month-end closing process and provide expertise on technical accounting queries. • Ensure compliance with local GAAP standards, manage audits, and prepare financial statements. • Support VAT reporting, tax and other reporting compliance, prepare income tax returns. • Act as the primary contact for various departments and external parties (tax consultants, auditors) regarding accounting matters.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including leadership roles. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations. • Strong business acumen, ability to understand business in detail by connecting the responsibilities and inputs of all organizational units. • Fluency in both English and Lithuanian is required (written and spoken). • Proficient in the accounting processes, audit preparation, and financial statement preparation. • Excellent knowledge in MS Office. • Exceptional time management, task ownership, and prioritization skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • High level of integrity and attention to detail. • Experience in the technology company (start-up) or e-commerce industry is a plus.
