• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in conducting Research and Development (R&D) tax credit consulting services. • Execute key project components including leading assigned client interviews. • Assess applicability of R&D tax credit for specific activities. • Prepare credit calculations, drafting supporting documentation and reports. • Perform technical research at federal and state levels. • Develop specialized knowledge of R&D applications by industry. • Independently execute key components of R&D tax credit studies under Project Manager oversight. • Lead data analysis, conduct assigned client interviews, prepare draft deliverables. • Provide guidance to Associates while developing technical expertise and client management skills necessary for advancement to Project Manager.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities • Ability to work independently and take ownership of project components with minimal supervision • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that build trust and credibility with clients and team members • Advanced attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical and financial work • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field; or One (1) to Three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Ability to write reports, business correspondence • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, PDF editing software
