📋 Description
• Investigates insurance claims in various settings • Assesses loss or damage from events like weather, earthquakes, and fire • Conducts property inspections and photographs claim sites • Obtains necessary information from the claimant and experts • Recommends proper claim amounts to insurance companies • Prepares reports to insurance carriers outlining conclusions and recommendations • Submits reimbursement reports in accordance with policies and standards
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred • 2-5 years’ experience in commercial property loss adjusting; experience with catastrophe claims • Knowledge of property claim law • Active license in assigned state(s) or ability to promptly obtain • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Strong research and investigative skills • Conflict resolution and persuasion abilities • Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Xactimate, Corelogic
