📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain complete end-to-end game features • Integrate scalable server-side backend services with high-performance client-side gameplay and UI logic • Design flexible, modular backend systems serving multiple frontend game clients • Optimize server-side load management, database queries, client-side memory, and frame-rate stability • Implement real-time data collection, logging, and crash reporting across client and backend systems • Monitor the full technology stack and diagnose cross-domain issues • Implement end-to-end security protocols, protect sensitive user data, and deploy anti-cheat and exploit-prevention measures • Translate creative requirements from UI/UX and game designers into actionable engineering tasks • Mentor developers in modern client-side and backend techniques • Create and maintain unified technical documentation, including API specifications, server infrastructure, and engine integration manuals • Scope features during sprints, align technical requirements with business goals, and reduce technical debt • Plan work across memory optimization, stateless architecture, and high-concurrency systems • Collaborate with product owners and game designers to review mechanics and propose performant solutions • Use monitoring telemetry to maintain server availability during traffic spikes • Balance rapid feature delivery with clean, scalable, and modular code

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of development experience • 1+ year of leadership experience • iGaming/Gambling experience is a plus • Strong understanding of game client architecture • Experience with state machines, game flow, and real-time systems • Deep professional experience in game client development • Understanding/experience with scalable server-side backend architectures • Ability to design systems from the ground up and handle ambiguity • Experience identifying and fixing memory leaks, architecture flaws, and security vulnerabilities • Ability to explain complex backend constraints to non-technical stakeholders • Track record of mentoring engineers, driving architectural decisions, and leading projects through the full software development lifecycle • Fluent English plus Ukrainian or Russian • Experience with Pixi, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, React, WebGL, 2D skeletal web animation, WebSockets, event streaming brokers, remote procedure calls, WebRTC, WHIP, RTMP, SRT, H5Live, Low-Latency HLS, MoQ, ABR, SQL, NoSQL, in-memory caching, columnar/analytics databases, cloud infrastructure, containerization, container orchestration, distributed telemetry, log aggregation, and time-series monitoring dashboards • Experience with Python is nice to have • Willingness to work on an EU B2B basis
