⢠Own product design work end to end, from defining problems and exploring solutions through validation and launch ⢠Partner with product and engineering to define problems, explore solutions, validate direction, and ship ⢠Stay involved after launch through iteration ⢠Design across web apps, native iOS and Android mobile apps, embeddable widgets, and user portals ⢠Maintain and evolve Figma design-system libraries, including components, autolayout, and variables ⢠Create prototypes closer to code using appropriate tooling ⢠Communicate asynchronously through feature decks, recorded walkthroughs, written specifications, and Figma comments ⢠Collaborate closely with engineering by reviewing builds, flagging design drift, and balancing pixel fidelity with shipping speed ⢠Manage priorities across multiple product areas and shifting priorities ⢠Improve mature applications without disrupting existing users ⢠Design new features and refine existing product experiences
⢠3+ years designing products, ideally in SaaS or application-heavy environments ⢠Fluent in Figma, including components, autolayout, variables, prototyping, and Dev Mode ⢠Comfortable with rough flow mapping and pixel-level UI ⢠Strong product instinct ⢠Comfortable designing for data-dense desktop web and native mobile ⢠Working understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and common patterns for complex applications ⢠Comfortable with product research, including talking with users, running usability tests, and turning feedback into product direction ⢠Strong asynchronous writing ⢠Self-directed and able to ship without close supervision ⢠Adapting design processes to current tools and expectations ⢠Strong typography, including pairing, scale, rhythm, and hierarchy ⢠Confident with color, grid, and layout across breakpoints and devices ⢠Strong visual hierarchy judgment ⢠Comfortable with iconography and illustration ⢠Ability to distinguish when to use libraries versus custom work ⢠Taste-aware and able to explain design issues ⢠Systems-minded and comfortable with clean, documented structure ⢠Comfortable working remotely in a dispersed team with at least 4 hours of overlap with the core team
