📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the General Ledger (GL), ensuring its accuracy, integrity, and compliance. • Maintain and manage the Chart of Accounts. • Lead the transition from outsourced accounting to an internal accounting function. • Manage monthly close activities, reconciliations, and financial accuracy. • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports. • Review Profit & Loss statements and financial performance across business units. • Ensure accurate and timely reporting for executive leadership. • Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations. • Review invoices, payroll, expense reports, and vendor payments. • Provide guidance and oversight to the bookkeeping team. • Monitor cash flow and perform bank reconciliations. • Coordinate payroll tax, sales tax, and year-end tax reporting activities. • Ensure accounting practices comply with company policies and financial controls. • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling financial records and sensitive company information.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Accountant with full ownership of the General Ledger (GL). • Strong experience managing month-end close and financial reporting. • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks. • Experience supervising accounting or bookkeeping teams. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls. • High level of integrity with the ability to manage highly confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment. • Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
