📋 Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team on a service-based contract. • In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless IT operations by providing technical support, troubleshooting system issues, and optimizing our IT infrastructure. • You will work closely with internal teams, managing hardware, software, and network systems while implementing security measures and IT solutions that enhance efficiency and business continuity. • Provide first-line IT support to employees, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. • Respond promptly to IT service requests, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. • Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate teams when necessary. • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network devices. • Monitor network performance and ensure system security by applying necessary updates and patches. • Troubleshoot connectivity issues and optimize network infrastructure for maximum efficiency. • Install and update software applications while ensuring license compliance. • Maintain and upgrade IT hardware, including laptops, printers, routers, and servers. • Ensure proper documentation of IT assets and inventory management. • Implement and enforce IT security protocols to safeguard company data. • Conduct regular data backups and ensure disaster recovery measures are in place. • Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices to prevent security breaches. • Assist in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts. • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance IT efficiency. • Collaborate with different departments to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions. • Develop and maintain IT documentation, including troubleshooting guides and system configurations. • Provide training sessions to staff on IT best practices, software usage, and cybersecurity awareness.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role. • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, CCNA, or ITIL are a plus. • Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. • Strong understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, DNS, DHCP). • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, Google Workspace, and cloud platforms. • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote desktop support tools. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to IT support.
