📋 Description
• As a Platform Software Engineer focused on infrastructure automation, you will be a key contributor to our next-generation internal cloud platform. • You'll work closely with the DevOps Architect and Infrastructure Architect to implement automation tooling that powers a scalable, self-service infrastructure across multiple business units. • Your work will enhance Kubernetes, VM platform automation, application delivery workflows, and network automation using modern cloud-native and traditional automation frameworks. • Build internal APIs and SDKs that enable teams to interact with infrastructure in a seamless, cloud-like manner. • Design and implement Kubernetes platform automation for improved scalability and workload management. • Develop automation frameworks for managing VM platform orchestration and infrastructure components. • Automate network provisioning and VM lifecycle management across hybrid infrastructure. • Extend and customize infrastructure management platforms to support scalable, multi-tenant provisioning solutions. • Leverage GitOps, policy-as-code, and automation tools to enforce infrastructure consistency and security.
🎯 Requirements
• Proficient in Go, Python, or other systems-level languages, with production experience in automation tool development. • Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, or cloud-native controllers. • Familiar with GitOps tooling (e.g., FluxCD, ArgoCD) and policy-as-code frameworks (Kyverno, Open Policy Agent). • Comfortable designing RESTful APIs and writing clean, maintainable code in a collaborative environment. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across Kubernetes, virtualization, infrastructure layers, and networking automation. • Preferred: • Prior experience in hybrid-cloud or bare-metal infrastructure automation platforms. • Familiarity with virtualization tooling (e.g., KubeVirt, vSphere, Harvester APIs). • Experience with network automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Python, Perl) • Experience with VM orchestration solutions (e.g., OpenStack, VMware vSphere, Harvester, Proxmox). • Industry certifications such as Terraform Associate, CKAD, or relevant networking/cloud automation credentials.
