• Lead preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial and business performance information for non-US operations. • Partner with international business leadership and US-based Finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, annual operating plans, market expansion, and global initiatives. • Advise Finance leadership, Legal, Tax, and business partners on international accounting, tax, compliance, controls, and operational matters. • Lead accounting operations, close activities, and financial reporting for international entities and non-US business activity. • Review and approve financial statements, management reporting, account reconciliations, and accounting analyses. • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, applicable IFRS, local statutory reporting, regulatory requirements, and EPRI policies. • Direct intercompany accounting, foreign currency considerations, and cross-border transactions. • Design, monitor, and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and lead remediation efforts. • Coordinate with internal and external auditors on requests, documentation, walkthroughs, testing, and remediation plans. • Partner with tax advisors on international tax compliance, transfer pricing, permanent establishment, and indirect tax matters. • Lead cash forecasting, cash-flow analysis, and global cash management for applicable international operations. • Lead finance transformation initiatives involving process optimization, automation, shared services, ERP enhancements, reporting improvements, and control effectiveness. • Use ERP systems, reporting tools, data warehouses, and analytical solutions to improve financial management. • Provide leadership, coaching, training, and development for staff. • Establish performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback and development support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required. • At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, finance, or financial analysis required. • At least 6 years of experience managing staff required. • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles, including applying US GAAP to international operations and legal entities. • Knowledge of IFRS, international accounting practices, statutory reporting, local regulatory compliance, foreign currency, and intercompany accounting. • Comprehensive understanding of corporate and operational accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. • Knowledge of internal controls, governance, risk management, and audit requirements. • Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, financial reporting systems, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office applications. • Strategic thinking, strong financial acumen, business judgment, integrity, and discretion. • Ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly across cultures, geographies, functions, and leadership levels. • Proven ability to balance global business objectives with US GAAP, IFRS, statutory compliance, controls, tax, and operational requirements. • Strong leadership capabilities, including talent development, succession planning, stakeholder management, and performance accountability.
