The organization seeks to become a leading global certifier by 2030, channeling substantial finance into restoration and conservation, and operates as a fully remote, international team.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage the operations sub-team, ensuring clear prioritisation, task allocation, and high-quality, timely delivery. • Act as the main point of contact for the Certification and External Relations teams, managing requests, aligning expectations, and coordinating timelines. • Report on team capacity, progress, and blockers to the Director of Engineering. • Support team members' growth and foster a productive, collaborative working environment. • Maintain a clear, up-to-date picture of methodology operationalisation: what's been implemented, what's in progress, and what's next. • Drive progress by identifying dependencies and blockers, and coordinating with Data Engineering and the broader Data team to keep things on track. • Step in on operational tasks when needed to unblock the team or handle peak workload. • Improve team processes, workflows, and tools to increase delivery efficiency. • Encourage and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, or Project Management. • Exposure to geospatial data, remote sensing, or data engineering is a plus. • 4+ years of professional experience in a similar role, including a proven track record of coordinating or managing a technical team. • Experience in the carbon or climate sector, particularly with certification processes, is highly preferred. • Strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple concurrent requests and keep delivery on track. • Proficiency with project management tools such as Notion, Jira, or Asana is expected. • Familiarity with tools such as Python, GIS, or data pipelines is a plus. • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
