• ERG is a research and consulting firm that provides a wide range of support to federal, state, and commercial clients. • ERG offers multidisciplinary teams with nationally recognized skills in engineering, science, economics, public health, informational technology, and communications. • We hire people with the best minds and then provide them with a vibrant and flexible environment in which to develop their careers. • The qualified individual must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. • ERG is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer or Scientist to oversee environmental site assessment and remediation projects for our State and Federal clients across a variety of regulatory programs (e.g. Brownfields, CERCLA, RCRA, and state Voluntary Remediation Programs [VRPs]). • The candidate is responsible for providing senior-level management, guidance and deliverable review of environmental assessments, investigations, permitting activities, and remediation evaluations. • This environmental scientist or engineer would help to expand our growing site assessment work.

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental site assessment and remediation is required • Brownfields, CERCLA, RCRA Corrective Action and/or state VRP experience • Proven project manager with ability to manage multiple projects and subcontractors on time and on budget • Knowledgeable in current and emerging remedial technologies with a preference for candidates with per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) experience • Ability to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment • 40-hour HAZWOPER Certified • Be able to carry 25 pounds, climb ladders, and work on elevated platforms
