📋 Description

• Administer, configure, and maintain MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases • Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and storage structures • Manage database roles, privileges, and access controls • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, performance bottlenecks, and outages • Collaborate with development teams to optimize database design, stored procedures, and queries • Automate database maintenance tasks using scripts and database tools • Perform database upgrades, patches, and migrations • Support database deployment in cloud and on-premises environments as part of DevOps teams • Maintain documentation of database architectures, configurations, and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator • Proficiency in MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL administration • Strong experience with SQL queries, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning • Understanding of database security best practices and access controls • Experience with backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions • Experience with NoSQL databases • Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database or similar) • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities • Certification in database management (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate)
