📋 Description

• As the Quality Assurance Test Analyst, you will be responsible for the quality testing and validation of a large Data Lake using AWS Redshift and Databricks • You will be the lead analyst working with a remote team located across the US • This is a remote position, but you will need to pick up your computer equipment in person within the first month of hire to verify identity • Document requirements, test plans, tests, and traceability matrices following ISO13485 compliant processes • Collaborate with software developers in unit, regression, and load testing • Hands-on execution of test plans and scripts to test and validate application functionality for accuracy, consistency, and integrity • Collaborate with data analysts in user acceptance testing to ensure the system meets business needs • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management • Analyze formal test results to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws • Works with the development team and data analysts to assist with data requests, troubleshoot queries, and optimize their processes • Develop and implement data quality standards and processes • Monitor and update data dictionaries and metadata to ensure data consistency • Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality • Continually learn and improve your skills

🎯 Requirements

• 4-year college degree in an engineering or related field • 5-7 years of experience as a software analyst/tester on a data warehouse/lake project in pharma or medical devices • Strong technical skills, proven ability to navigate/understand/use AWS cloud, including RedShift and DataBricks • Advanced SQL scripting skills and strong database knowledge, including experience with ETL workflows • Strong understanding of quality assurance, test strategies, and test execution • Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities • Excellent PC skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and can communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language • Able to prioritize and execute tasks while working on multiple projects concurrently • High attention to detail • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage your time and get stuff done • Ability to go with the flow and understand that change is a constant
