• Perform third-party audits per Eurofins Certification procedures and requirements of applicable standards (e.g. BRCGS and SQF) • Collect and analyze information to provide recommendations for certification • Conduct and implement all components of the audit process including managing, planning, travel arrangements, execution, and client follow up • Maintain accredited auditor status and achieve additional categories and scheme accreditations • Maintain professional development and training required for audit proficiency • Maintain confidentiality and impartiality, adhere to Eurofins procedures and SOPs • Attend annual informational meeting and calibration meetings • Conduct witness audits and surveillance audits as required
• BA or BS degree in food related or bioscience discipline required • Minimum 5 years’ experience in food manufacturing • Completed a recognized HACCP Training with certificate issued (16 hours, 2 days) • Passed a recognized Lead Auditor Training (40 hours, 5 days) • Knowledge of GFSI BRC, SQF, GRMA, or FAMI-QS • Ability to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship • English/Spanish language skills • Strong communication and interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills • Proactive attitude and excellent organizational skills • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects • Must successfully complete a period of supervised training (witness audits) by Eurofins
