📋 Description

• Owning compliance with worldwide laws applicable to AI, e-commerce platforms • Contracts and assessments required under data protection law, including the GDPR (DPAs, TIAs, etc.) • Preparing, maintaining required compliance documentation • Internal documentation under data protection, AI Governance, consumer rights, and similar laws • EverAI’s AI systems inventory (in line with EU guidance) • Risk assessments under applicable safety laws • Product & feature reviews (e.g., for consumer rights, data protection compliance) • Owning day-to-day compliance tasks: Standard IP issues (e.g., DMCA notices, copycats) • Contract reviews (NDAs, licenses) • Legal terms updates (including TOS, Privacy Notices, and content policies) • Tracking, researching and analyzing relevant legal developments

🎯 Requirements

• Legal education (e.g., Masters of Law, Juris Doctor, recognized legal certification) • 2-6 years of experience as legal counsel or similar positions • At least 2 years of your experience must be working with contracts generally, and data protection law specifically. • Experience in applying or interest in learning the legal landscape applicable to B2C companies • Ability to distill complex legal concepts into plain English • Professional experience or interest in AI • Strong communication & collaborative skills (perfectly fluent in English)
