📋 Description

• Partner with Product and Platform Engineering teams to identify, prioritise and remediate security risks. • Implement security improvements across our cloud platforms and engineering tools, including Azure, AWS, OCI, GitHub and WAF technologies. • Support the delivery of security initiatives and roadmap items that strengthen our platform and products. • Monitor, measure and report on security KPIs to drive continuous improvement. • Assist with penetration testing, vulnerability management, security audits and remediation activities. • Contribute to maintaining our security risk register and support teams to assess and manage security risks. • Help integrate security into our CI/CD pipelines through automation and developer-friendly tooling. • Coach engineering teams on secure coding practices through documentation, code reviews and knowledge sharing. • Participate in threat modelling and security assessments during product and feature design. • Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies and industry best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, Platform Engineering or a similar technical role. • A strong understanding of modern application and cloud security principles. • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. • Knowledge of secure software development practices, CI/CD pipelines and automation. • Experience identifying, assessing and remediating security vulnerabilities. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance security, risk and business outcomes. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence engineering teams and build a security-first culture. • A continuous learning mindset and passion for staying current with evolving security threats and technologies. • Experience with security tooling such as GitHub Advanced Security, vulnerability management platforms, WAFs or similar technologies is advantageous.
