📋 Description

• Drive data strategy and practices for databases • Capacity planning and performance tuning • Carry out database related project work (migration scripts, DDL) • Manage high risk data deployments and post-deploy monitoring • Assist development teams with database reliability • Work with data and product teams to improve engineering practices • Advocate for DevOps and SRE principles • Grow and mentor other data professionals

🎯 Requirements

• Strong ability to work autonomously • Deep expertise in database reliability, performance, and management • Strong experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Oracle) • Advanced T-SQL skills • Experience with scripting and object-oriented programming (Python, PowerShell, Terraform) • Experience in agile environments (SCRUM, Kanban) • Confident communicator
