📋 Description

• Define and lead Evergreen Finance’s enterprise data strategy, aligning data capabilities with business objectives • Own and evolve the data platform, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and fit for analytics and operational use • Establish and embed data governance, quality, and standards across the organisation • Build and lead a high-performing data engineering function, setting delivery standards and ways of working • Drive data culture and maturity, enabling self-service analytics and increasing data literacy across business teams • Act as the senior point of communication and advocacy for data, translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience defining and executing data strategy at the organisational level, including platform ownership • Strong background in modern data platforms (e.g. cloud data warehousing, pipelines, governance tooling) • Demonstrable leadership of data engineering or platform teams, including delivery management and capability building • Experience implementing data governance frameworks, including data quality, lineage, and stewardship • Track record of improving data maturity and enabling self-service analytics in a business setting • Ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence cross-functional adoption of data-driven practices
