âą Serve as the specialty match reviewer in Cardiology cases âą Provides clinical rationale for standard and expedited appeals âą Discuss determinations (peer to peer phone calls) with requesting physicians or ordering providers âą Utilizes medical/clinical review guidelines and parameters âą Ensures documentation of all communications is recorded in a timely and accurate manner âą Participates in on-going training per inter-rater reliability process
đŻ Requirements
âą MD/DO/MBBS Degree âą Current, unrestricted clinical license in medicine or required specialty âą Active Board Certification in Cardiology, Vascular Surgery or Adult Congenital Heart Disease âą Strong clinical, management, communication, and organizational skills âą Energetic and curious with a passion for quality and value in health care âą Minimum of five (5) yearsâ experience in the practice of Cardiology is preferred
