• We are looking for an exceptional Head of Data & Platform Architecture to lead and grow Exadel’s global Data, Analytics, and AI Architecture capability. • This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for defining, building, and delivering modern, scalable, and future-proof data and platform architectures that drive transformation for both Exadel and its clients across industries. • This role combines technical excellence, strategic vision, client delivery leadership, and commercial impact—serving as a key pillar in establishing Exadel as a world-class Data & AI consulting partner. • Define and lead the global Data & Platform Architecture strategy—ensuring alignment with emerging trends, client demands, and Exadel’s growth ambitions. • Build, grow, and manage a high-performing team of Data Architects, Platform Architects, and Solution Designers (initial team size: 3–6), fostering talent development and innovation. • Represent Exadel externally as a thought leader in the architecture and data modernization space—participating in industry forums, client pitches, and market shaping.
• 12+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Platform Engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles. • Deep expertise in: • Cloud-native data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). • Modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Fabric, Real-Time/Streaming). • DataOps, DevOps, MLOps principles. • Big Data, Advanced Analytics, and AI/ML enablement. • Strong background in Data Modelling: • Design and development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models. • Expertise in dimensional modelling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) and normalized OLTP models. • Hands-on experience with data modelling tools such as Erwin, PowerDesigner, dbt, SQL Developer Data Modeler, etc. • Solid experience in ETL/ELT design, including: • Source-to-Target Mapping (STM). • Data integration patterns (batch, real-time, micro-batch). • Pipeline orchestration and performance optimization. • Proven experience delivering large-scale data transformation, cloud migration, and modernization programmes in complex enterprise environments, ideally in a consulting or advisory capacity. • Exceptional ability to develop reference architectures, technology roadmaps, and reusable frameworks. • Outstanding stakeholder engagement, communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear business narratives for executives and non-technical audiences. • Strategic visionary thinker combined with hands-on technical credibility. • Strong team leadership and coaching capabilities. • Passionate about technology innovation, AI-readiness, and client success. • Commercially savvy with the ability to shape value-driven architecture offerings.
