📋 Description

• Define and implement the overall test strategy, processes, and governance for product delivery across functional, automation, performance, and regression testing. • Lead and mentor QA engineers in designing and executing test cases aligned with Agile sprints. • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and DevOps to ensure quality is embedded across the SDLC. • Drive automation-first testing culture leveraging Playwright for UI/API automation. • Own and manage performance testing strategy and execution using JMeter, ensuring scalability and resilience of applications. • Ensure seamless testing integration within the AWS cloud stack (Aurora PostgreSQL, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.). • Oversee data validation and integrity testing within Aurora PostgreSQL and APIs built on Spring Boot. • Work closely with DevOps teams to align QA automation with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and GitHub repositories. • Champion quality metrics (defect leakage, test coverage, performance KPIs) and provide regular reporting to stakeholders. • Foster a product delivery mindset: balance speed-to-market with robust risk management practices. • Continuously evaluate new tools, frameworks, and practices to optimize QA efficiency and effectiveness.

🎯 Requirements

• 8–12 years of software testing experience, including at least 3 years in a Test Manager / QA Lead role. • Strong knowledge of AWS services relevant to application hosting, monitoring, and CI/CD (Aurora PostgreSQL, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, CloudWatch). • Hands-on expertise with Playwright for automation (UI + API). • Proficiency with JMeter for load, stress, and performance testing. • Solid understanding of Agile delivery models (Scrum/Kanban), with proven experience embedding QA in iterative delivery cycles. • Prior experience testing React front-end applications, Spring Boot APIs/services, and Aurora PostgreSQL databases. • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
