• Independently manage a client portfolio comprising sole proprietors, artisans and commercial companies • Prepare VAT returns, annual financial statements and tax packages • Prepare personal income tax returns • Provide initial tax advice • Provide hands-on advice and manage client relationships • Address a wide range of business management matters • Act as the key point of contact for portfolio clients • Develop best practices within the firm • Train junior staff • Use internal digital tools to facilitate accounting monitoring and clients’ administrative organization • Support business owners and contribute to the firm’s advisory services • Ensure compliance with professional standards and internal procedures • Serve as the technical point of reference for staff and verify that production tools meet their needs • Act as the liaison between partners and staff • Assume technical responsibility for work performed for portfolio clients • Report to the Branch Director and collaborate with chartered accountants
• Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field (three to five years of higher education) • At least five years’ experience in a similar role • Experience in a public accounting firm preferred • Valid driver’s license required • Curious, organized and methodical • Strong communication skills and well-developed interpersonal qualities • Strong interest in digital tools • Proficiency in or experience using ISACOMPTA, RCA Bilan Imagé, Prévi Flash, AGORA Expert, COT TNS, the internal document management system, digital platforms and Microsoft Office tools • Commitment to professional standards and internal procedures
