📋 Description

• Work directly with the client and play a critical role in shaping how credit decisions, portfolio performance, and risk-adjusted revenue decisions are made • Work on the full credit lifecycle from strategy and pricing to portfolio health and performance, ensuring the risk approach supports sustainable growth and strong financial outcomes • Directly influence profitability, capital efficiency, and long-term scalability

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred • 10+ years of progressive experience in credit risk with direct ownership of portfolio performance • 3+ years in a director-level or higher leadership role managing teams • Strong experience in small business lending, alternative finance, Merchant Cash Advances or non-prime environments preferred • Proven track record of making credit and pricing decisions with measurable business impact • Experience operating at an executive level with strong cross-functional influence • Deep expertise in portfolio management, pricing strategy, and unit economics • Strong understanding of underwriting processes, credit policy design, and segmentation strategies • Ability to interpret and challenge analytics outputs without direct model development ownership • Advanced proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of SQL and BI tools for data interpretation • Familiarity with credit decisioning systems, data vendors, and fraud tools • Experience leveraging data to inform strategy, stress testing, and scenario planning
