📋 Description

• Lead the design of HVAC, public health, heating, cooling, ventilation, domestic water, and above‑ground drainage systems. • Produce and review calculations, specifications, drawings, and technical reports. • Undertake detailed design using tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, or equivalent. • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, CIBSE Guides, BS/EN standards, and local planning requirements. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, structural, architectural, and sustainability specialists. • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource planning. • Act as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, and external stakeholders. • Integrate low‑carbon technologies, heat pumps, MVHR, district heating, and renewable systems into designs.

🎯 Requirements

• Technical & Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. • Chartered or working toward CEng (CIBSE or IMechE). • Strong understanding of UK building regulations, CIBSE guidance, and industry standards. • Proven experience delivering mechanical designs for commercial offices, residential developments, hotels, retail, or mixed‑use schemes. • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP).
