📋 Description

• Own test strategy and quality assurance for backend platform services, common iGaming capabilities, operator integrations, vendor/supplier integrations, and platform changes • Design and execute API, integration, end-to-end, regression, and contract testing • Validate iGaming platform features including game launch, session management, player authentication, wallet interactions, transactions, configuration, limits, currencies, languages, and jurisdiction-specific behaviour • Test operator, aggregator, third-party, and vendor integrations across successful, failed, degraded, timeout, retry, and unexpected-response scenarios • Build and maintain automated API and integration regression suites using Playwright and other appropriate tools • Review requirements, specifications, acceptance criteria, API contracts, and technical designs before implementation • Use AI-assisted quality engineering for test strategy, test-case generation, automation, exploratory testing, and defect/root-cause analysis • Validate data integrity and transactional consistency across distributed services • Test resilience, performance, scalability, failure recovery, logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting • Integrate automated tests and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines • Support release and production assurance through risk-based testing, pre-release validation, post-deployment checks, and production verification • Participate in architecture/design reviews, refinement, planning, and Definition of Done standards • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Service Operations, Compliance, operators, and external suppliers to investigate and resolve issues

🎯 Requirements

• Applicants must operate through a fully registered limited company • Core quality engineering knowledge: test strategy, risk-based testing, regression testing, exploratory testing, defect lifecycle, root cause analysis, shift-left quality • Backend and API testing knowledge: REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, API contracts, authentication, API testing, integration testing, contract testing • Automation experience with Playwright, API automation, automated regression, CI/CD integration, test data management, and mocking/service virtualisation • Platform engineering knowledge: distributed systems, microservices, databases, messaging/event-driven systems, logging, monitoring, and observability • iGaming domain knowledge: game lifecycle, player sessions, wallets, bet/win transactions, game configuration, operator integrations, aggregators/suppliers, and regulatory considerations • Engineering practices including BDD, TDD awareness, CI/CD, shift-left testing, zero-defect mindset, and Agile software delivery • Nice-to-have: experience testing backend platforms in regulated iGaming, payments, fintech, or other high-transaction environments • Nice-to-have: experience with contract testing, API automation frameworks, event-driven architectures, performance/load testing, cloud platforms such as AWS, observability tooling, third-party integrations, scripting/development, and AI tools for quality engineering
