📋 Description
• Analyze AWS usage and cost data across applications and environments to understand spend drivers and trends • Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities such as rightsizing, scheduling, storage optimization, and removing unused resources • Partner with application teams, architects, and engineers to recommend cost‑efficient architecture and operational improvements • Review application infrastructure and cloud designs to ensure AWS services are used effectively and responsibly • Create dashboards, reports, and KPIs that provide clear visibility into cloud spend, savings, and anomalies • Promote and support FinOps best practices, including governance, tagging standards, forecasting, and ongoing cost accountability
🎯 Requirements
• 4+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS services in a DevOps, cloud engineering, or architecture-focused role • Solid understanding of AWS cost drivers, including services such as EC2, RDS, S3, EKS/ECS, Lambda, networking, and data platforms • Experience analyzing cloud usage data and turning insights into actionable cost optimization recommendations • Knowledge of modern application architectures, including containers, microservices, and cloud-native deployment patterns • Familiarity with AWS cost management tools such as Cost Explorer, budgets, and reporting or analytics dashboards
