📋 Description

• Design, implement, and evolve a petabyte-scale AWS data platform • Build and optimize scalable data pipelines using Scala, Spark, and cloud-native services • Serve as a technical lead, mentoring engineers and promoting best practices • Contribute to architectural and design decisions • Plan and deliver complex technical initiatives • Ensure operational readiness by following coding standards • Explore and adopt modern technologies

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in software and data engineering on large-scale data platforms • Experience with Scala and Apache Spark • Advanced knowledge of the AWS data ecosystem (Glue, S3, Athena) • Strong understanding of distributed systems • Skills in query optimization and storage patterns • Expertise in cloud ecosystems (AWS required; Azure/GCP are a plus) • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Advanced English and availability to travel to São Carlos, SP when required.
