📋 Description

• Design and maintain high-quality data models that transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets • Model e-commerce data (customers, orders, products, transactions) for reporting and analytics needs • Build, optimize, and document SQL transformations that power dashboards and decision-making • Work within a lakehouse environment (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) to structure and orchestrate scalable data pipelines • Ensure continuity and data quality when source systems or schemas evolve • Collaborate with analysts and engineers to translate business requirements into reliable data structures • Improve performance, documentation, and testing coverage across the data modeling ecosystem • Support BI and reporting layers by delivering well-designed, well-tested datasets

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles (flexible with equivalent skill level) • Advanced SQL — efficient, maintainable, and production-ready • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar lakehouse/warehouse platforms • Understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse best practices • Experience working with e-commerce data models or operational datasets • Ability to communicate clearly, work autonomously, and make pragmatic technical decisions • Familiarity with modern data workflows, documentation, and testing practices • Strong plus (not required): experience working with Shopify data (customers, orders, products, transactions) • Nice to have: dbt, BI tools, cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
