• This is a remote position. • Our Ideal Candidate • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. • The ideal candidate possesses a strong command of Xero, critical thinking skills, and the ability to support diverse accounting and administrative tasks. • You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and proactive problem-solving. • You thrive in a remote work environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and can collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. • With a dedication to meeting deadlines and upholding compliance standards, you are a valuable asset to any accounting team. • Expected Work Hours and Timezone • This is a full-time, work-from-home role, aligned with New Zealand hours (starting at 10:00 AM New Zealand Time).
• Proficiency in Xero software for bookkeeping and financial tasks. • Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to make judgment calls in complex scenarios. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Ability to analyze and present data effectively. • Collaborative and proactive work ethic, especially in a remote environment. • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting. • Experience with New Zealand or Australian accounting systems and practices (preferred). • Must be based in the Philippines.
