📋 Description

• Provide full time technical design, deployment and support for designated customers • Act as technical lead and trusted advisor to the customer • Participate in customer meetings to prioritize scheduled activities • Support resolving L2/3 switch, SD‑WAN and product issues onsite including troubleshooting • Perform lab replications, research difficult problems, and test engineering fixes • Manage high work volume with time-bound constraints • Analyze problems and identify solutions using issue databases, debugging tools and lab simulations • Escalate and collaborate with Extreme Global Technical Assistance Center (GTAC) to resolution • Provide product training to the customer • Create and explain bug scrub and vulnerability reports to the customer • Liaise between sales, PLM, Engineering, GTAC and the customer during implementation and production phases • Work with Extreme partners and sales staff to implement solutions and provide knowledge transfer • Maintain excellent knowledge of all Extreme product suites

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent Japanese • In-depth knowledge of Switching/Routing • In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN • Expert in networking technologies with industry and regional knowledge and experience (5 or more years’ experience) • Follow Extreme Premier Services PDIO (Plan/Design/Implement/Operate) implementation methodology, including high-level architecture diagrams, functional capabilities, prerequisites, configurations, deliverable dates, timelines, UAT and Functional Validation criteria within a MOP • Strong skills in design, troubleshooting and problem resolution in a network environment using Extreme network products • Best to have a BS Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience • Best to have Network Certifications (e.g., CCNA, CISSP, CCIE, CWTS/CWNA) • Organisation and time management skills; ability to handle multiple issues in an organised manner • Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision • Experience with Extreme Network products and solutions is a plus • Native or business-level English and Japanese is a plus
