📋 Description

• Lead and develop the tax team, driving efficiency and alignment with the company’s objectives • Manage the calculation and control processes for direct and indirect taxes, with a focus on monophase PIS/COFINS and ICMS Tax Substitution (ST) across multiple states • Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation, with emphasis on the impacts of tax reform • Ensure compliance with primary and ancillary tax obligations, as well as accurate tax bookkeeping • Participate in process improvement and tax automation projects • Leverage technology to build knowledge and continuously enhance EY’s service delivery • Understand EY’s service lines and assess/present viable service opportunities • Develop lasting relationships and networks

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Law, Business Administration, or Economics • Experience managing medium to large teams • Deep knowledge of indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS and ISS) • Solid expertise in monophase PIS/COFINS, ICMS Tax Substitution (ST), and state tax legislation • Experience with projects related to tax reform • Proven experience preparing technical proposals and developing new business • Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Protheus, or TaxONE
