📋 Description

• Design, implement and enhance automated data quality assessments, compliance metrics and KPIs • Design, implement and enhance automated data profiling and integration of internal and external data sources • Identify data governance opportunities associated with business issues and risks and develop mitigation and efficiency solutions • Identify critical master and reference data elements for governance • Assess business issues and risks from system, process, control and data perspectives • Facilitate documentation of metadata, lineage, models, interfaces, transformations and other data lifecycle activities • Define and implement data standards for key data elements • Produce governance performance measurements, KPIs, monthly achievements, project status and issues reports • Translate team priorities into actionable plans for Data Governance objectives • Build relationships across IT, Finance, Data Privacy, Risk, Business Reporting, Service Lines, Area leadership and Talent leadership • Provide thought leadership and embed leading-practice methods and processes • Serve as primary quality control analyst for master data entities in primary databases • Contribute subject matter expertise to reviews of new data designs and development • Escalate unresolved data management decisions • Provide business cases and resource estimates for governance and data quality development work • Research and provide expert knowledge • Report on and support enforcement of Data Governance policy • Identify data governance metrics and execute audits covering data quality, retention and security • Expose governance metrics through scorecards or dashboards • Quantify and articulate business impact of policy violations with business leadership • Develop data quality methodologies for improvement projects • Participate in application and data integration design and deployment to ensure standards, controls and policy adherence • Provide day-to-day guidance, feedback and on-the-job coaching • Report to the Mercury Support Solution Center Data Governance Technical Lead

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or business administration or equivalent work experience • 5+ years’ experience in a global professional services firm performing data management and/or governance, system integration, implementing data analytics, warehouse, MDM and/or BI solutions • Understanding of the end-to-end data life cycle requirements of key business processes • In-depth knowledge of SAP Data Services, Information Steward Components on Data Insight, Metadata Management, Metapedia, Cleansing Package Builder, Match Review and Custom attributes build • Strong understanding and usage of Information Steward Components, SAP Data Services (BODS/DS), SAP MDM / MDG, advanced SQL and custom attributes build • Comprehensive understanding of data analytics solutions, data conversion implementations and tools, ERP data models, data warehouse models, data profiling techniques, ETL/data integration tools and technology, MDM solutions, and SDLC • Strong leadership and consensus-building skills • Complex problem-solving and conceptual-thinking skills • Project management skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure and time constraints • Strong attention to detail when examining data and trends • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills • Ability to react appropriately during crisis situations • Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-moving and changing environment • Ability to operate in a global matrix environment • Ability to work non-standard hours supporting global production systems • Some business travel as needed
